Qi CLOCK

How to use the QiCLOCK for optimal well-being

The flow of Qi affects your energy, emotions and health. As I define it, optimal well-being is living pain free, stress free, emotionally balanced and energetically. I began to study QiGong after hearing that monks who were practicing it lived to be 250. This practice of balancing qi helps me and I believe that it can help you too.

When I teach "Learning How to Heal Yourself" there are 3 main steps. The first step is sit still. I have a section on the site under next steps to help you begin to sit still. A relaxation practice is known to help you handle stress and have more energy and the balancing techniques on this site can help to balance all your meridians. The second step is to listen. One of the easiest ways I find to listen is to begin to write my thoughts. If you do this as you are sitting still and you focus on a meditation or a question rather than your natural thoughts, you may find new answers or direction. "How can I achieve optimal well-being?" could be your question. When you entered this site, you had the opportunity to receive a free pdf journal page which can help you in this practice. In the journal section under Next Steps on the main menu, you will have the option of logging into an online journal or buying a journal with more to help you along your path to optimal well being. The third step and a very important step is to make a decision. You decide if you want optimal well being. It is also important that your words line up with your decisions. This will help to guide your thoughts in the same direction. The perfect example is a person who complains about being old or getting old. Their body reacts and gives them those things they expect with age. Aches and pains, even wrinkles and sagging skin if that is what they believe. That is how powerful your thoughts are! Yet, look at other people the same age who don't look as old and don't make the same complaints. There are many other examples if you listen to what people say and how their lives look. I am providing information that may help you to experience optimal well-being. It may happen quickly and it may take time. This information is not intended to replace your physician or psychiatrist.

After you sit still, listen and make a decision, look at the meridian that coincides with the time you have the lowest energy or the time you feel less than optimal. Optimal is different for everyone, but I am going to further define it as feeling love, peace and joy. I choose this definition because when you feel this way, you are in a healing vibration. If you are having difficulty focusing well or are experiencing a strong negative emotion, your well being is not optimal. If you make a note when these are happening, this is an indicator of a qi block. Note the time this occurs and if you notice that the same fatigue or emotion becomes present at the same time, use that time as a starting point. If these occur at different times each day, pick one to start with and practice it for a week and see if you notice a difference. It is best to practice them during the same time that is indicated. If you are not able to do that, you can practice the balancing technique 2 hours before, 2 hours after or at the opposite time for best results. Anytime is better than not at all! I bless you on your journey to optimal well-being!
